We want to see work that you struggle to put a genre on. Literature that makes you hesitate to submit to clean and precise journals. Musings that seemingly are never the right fit for anywhere in particular.
Genres
We prefer the abstract, uncomfortable, gross, vile, perhaps erotic, and strange. Along with the beautiful, quiet, eerie, or indescribable. Genres such as literary, experimental, slipstream, horror (gothic, religious, cosmic), fiction, diary-like are a good fit, but do not hesitate to submit something else. Queer themes are always appreciated.
(Tip: Our main editor is not the biggest fan of sci-fi without any other elements.)
Length
Send anything from 1 - 1,000 words (I won’t be checking, though). This has recently been updated to help us get back to everyone efficiently and in a timely manner. It can be anything from poetry to short stories. You can include up to 3 poems per poetry submission and 2 short stories.
General Guidelines
Feel free to submit your work to anyone else even if your work does get accepted here. We are not strict; your work is yours alone. We request no rights to it.
You may use any file type for submissions. If there is an issue with it, we will let you know.
We will do our best to keep the format of your story, but we will be exercising our creative freedom in how they are displayed on our site.
Response times may vary, but we will do our best to reach you within a month of your submission.

We love violence in art and literature, but we ask that it serves a purpose in the story or writing. We will not tolerate unnecessary violence towards women or minorities, and that includes sexual violence of any kind. That being said, speaking of these issues is completely fine.

This is not a place for "smut" or "dark romance" that promotes and romanticizes abuse towards women and other marginalized groups.
If erotic violence otherwise is included in your work, we would love to review it.
