Antinous' Ring
Delights
by K. J. Joyner

Secure delights:
You caress up my back.
It teases me alive.
I relish your hunger.
Your lips follow the chills.
I sigh while leaning,
seeking fervent favors.
Blanketing my body
cocoons you completely.
I touch you,
surround you,
creating new fervor,
deepening breath,
taking all you can give.
Ecstasy.

K. J. Joyner is a prolific poet, unapologetic bad musician, and independent shamanistic scholar. Her first publication success was the poem “Unicorn” in Trouvère’s Laureate in 1988. These days she sings and makes comic books.
