Two Poems

A Universal Play Act

On the stage, the atoms sing and break into dances
Brillant reunions of their bonds make their display
Their magnificent tangibility shrouded in premeditated prances
The nebula brings forth after her kind, her beauty a sacred array
The suspended stars radiate triumphant cries of light
Her luminous children bestowing the lavish fury of their might
Round and round the bend of space takes the solid matter
Their conjunction a fervent splatter
The explosive song of the rock molds forth in perfect synchronization
Each note is an orchestral formation.
Oh, the choreography—something to be gawked at!
Such a sensation!
But the inquiry of the audience cannot be restrained
From where does such masterful craftsmanship originate?

A Controlled Paradise

The fine-tuned nature
The obfuscated lens of humanity
An indifference or caring sentiment
The choice an arbitrary insanity

The hypnotic sway of grass
So beautiful and serene
But romantic sight is the death of progress
Let us make way for the projects foreseen

The inevitable butcher of nature is a cacophony of emotions
Some forced to sadness while others shimmer in glee
But the gold pots are full everyone, come and get your fill
Soon, our monopoly will be shared, don’t you agree

Long gone are the days of an unblemished paradise
Where the Edenic blooming grew untarnished by reckless rationale
The vain utilization is running wild, corrupted by ambition
Unhampered progress being the master of the morale

The beasts share silent pleas for control of appetite
But the boisterous man has abandoned this act of harmony
Yet we share the sentiments, chaotic temptations to fight
Some scowl, some coddle, some worship, some suppress
But the man who surpasses, the ultimate righteousness
